SY8WT DXpedition travel will begin with first light on the 15th   of June 2007 from beautiful Thessaloniki, all our cars  having been loaded with equipment from the previous day.  

Crossing half of Greece, we estimate to reach Halkida around 11:00 am, with final destination being the harbor of Kymi at 13:30.   We then embark on the “Skyros Shipping” ferry boat “Achilles” for a short journey of approximately one hour and forty minutes.  Our arrival at Skyros island’s central port of Linaria in the south-west of this beautiful island will be followed by another forty minutes drive to Atsitsa, our final destination.

In Atsitsa we will be greeted by Mr. Kalimeris the hospitable hotel owner who has accepted to provide room and board for the DXpedition members and all the shacks. After setting up the Antenna farms and the stations we will begin transmitting on the 16^th of June at 03:00 local (00:00 UTC) 

Our return will follow the same route on the 24^th of June with hopes of  our bags being full of QSO’s, and wonderful experiences on this DXpedition.
